Assignment: Design public safety situational awareness per use case scenarios, working directly with VP, Eng & Ops to transform the concept into a visual language.

Impact:

Story-based mockups and detail wireframes helped Product and Engineering teams to discover and evaluate practical features.

Public Safety Application: Portable CHE

Opportunity:

Smart Continuity - Portable Call Handling Equipment providing continuous services during disasters

Assignment: Design 911 Call Handling Equipment portal for tablet/laptop environment, working directly with CTO/VP, Prod to transform the concept into a visual language.

Process:

  • Understanding use cases, user stories, user persona

  • Sketches, mockups, interactive prototype

Impact:

UX interactive prototype helped stakeholders see product value. Its storytelling approach displayed how features could be extended to wider customer base while evaluating potential risks.

Social App Concept: Local Bulletin Board

Opportunity:

Location Based Application for social app

Assignment:

Develop social app utilizing TCS’s location technology. The concept was officially evaluated with a UX user study conducted by VP, Prod, TCS’s UX team + UX firm Konrad. Users are student, business professional and family manager. The results show the most well-received concept.

Process:

  • Research and define trends that users are looking for.

Impact:

Proved that the unique concept appealed to various users. Well-illustrated description was key for people to understand the concept clearly.

Indoor Map App: Smart Shopper

Opportunity:

Location Based Application for shopping app

Assignment:

Develop a mall app concept utilizing TCS’s location technology. The concept was to deliver a seamless shopping mall customer experience, from home to mall, and making it enjoyable. The concept was presented to major malls.

Process:

  • Research and define trends. War room whiteboard.

  • User Persona/User Story

  • Wireframes & Mockups

  • Presentation preparation

Impact:

Conveyed an awareness of how a seamless shopping experience could extend business opportunities.

Map-Navigation Kit: Connected Car

Opportunity:

Map-Navigation Kit Development for automobiles

Assignment:

Design HD Map, Instrumental Cluster & Center Console view for TCS’s map-Nav technology. Worked closely with VP, Business Dev and VP, Eng to transform the concept into a visual language.

Process:

  • Research and understand trend per device

  • Competitive analysis

  • Sketches, mockups, 3D modeling

Impact:

UX deliverables ranged from detailed wireframes to low polygon vehicle CAD models. They were used to develop engineering demo for sales team to find new customers.
